It was a bright, beautiful day. The perfect day for Zelda to work on her photoshoot assignment for her advanced photography class! It was one of her favourite classes even though it was only an elective. With her favourite camera strapped around her neck, she walked through the grass on her way to the spot where she'd told Sebastian she'd meet him. He'd agreed to be her photography subject for the day, as the assignment had specified that the photoshoot had to be of a person and not of an inanimate object. So, of course, Zelda had called upon Sebastian to help her. He was really photogenic (something Zelda always thought was unfair), so the photoshoot would be a breeze with his help.
Sitting down by a large tree that she always ended up taking pictures around, Zelda rested her camera on her lap instead of letting it dangle from its strap and waited. All classes were over for the day, so it shouldn't be too long before Seb showed up. She closed her eyes and leaned against the tree, enjoying the feeling of the bright sunlight. It was quite warm, so it was a great day to be outside and take some pictures. Not one cloud obscured the sunlight- in fact, the white puffy things were nowhere to be found. It was a beautiful day.

Sebastian had agreed to go on a photo shoot with one of his friends, Zelda who happened to be an amazing photographer. If he was going to be famous one day, he’d probably hire her to become his personal one. Besides, he had already asked her to take a few pictures for the band to have some publicity here and there. Which reminded him, he’d have a show to do next Friday at a bar and he was going to ask her if she could come to take a few pictures and just to enjoy the evening while she was at it.
He had always had a soft spot for her and his band members knew of it. They would sometimes tease him about it as well. He didn’t mind it much though, and would always say that it wasn’t of their businesses. He smiled as he walked outside, making sure to dress neatly enough to be good on pictures. He fixed some of his hair though left them free; he didn’t like to use hair gel that much anyways.
Once he found her though, he made his way to the girl and knowing that her eyes was closed, he simply stood where he knew he would be blocking the sun. He smiled teasingly at the girl and just watched her for a few moments before he would actually speak. “Nice day out here isn’t it?” he asked casually. “Let’s give you an A to your assignment, I’m ready to show off.” He added teasingly. He would often joke about how handsome he was looking like. It wasn’t selfish or anything except mere teasing.

Zelda was glad she had Sebastian as a friend- it made photography assignments like this one loads easier. Not to mention she didn't mind spending a day taking pictures of him... not that she was interested in him like that of course, oh no. She just liked his appearance and his personality. Okay maybe she did like him just a little bit, but they were friends and that was it. She lay in the sun thinking of these things and trying to distract herself by thinking of something else when all of a sudden she felt it get shady. Oh no, I hope it's not going to rain.... she thought, and a small frown appeared on her face. But just then she heard a very familiar voice, and the smile returned, and she opened her eyes to see Sebastian. Phew, it's just him. it was just as sunny as it had been, and the shade had only been caused by him.
"Hey, you made me think it was going to rain. That would've been no good for a photoshoot." she raised an eyebrow at him as she stood up and brushed herself off, putting her camera back around her neck so it was in its usual spot. He joked about getting an A for the assignment just based on his appearance, which was probably at least partially true- not that Zelda would admit that. She merely rolled her eyes at him. "Yeah right, we both know the A's are because of my fabulous photography skills. It's not easy making this-" she motioned to his face- "look good, you know." she laughed a bit at this, because of course she was joking. But she still liked to tease him, just as he would often joke so that he sounded like some kind of narcissist, which they both knew he was far from.
"Right," she said finally, "shall we get to work, then?" they had the whole day ahead of them, but with what a nice day it was, if they finished work early, they might have time to go for an ice cream or something. It was just warm enough that a cold treat would be the perfect reward for a hard day's work.

Sebastian noticed the frown that formed onto her lips the moment that he shadowed her with his body. He couldn’t blame her though; the sun was so warm. It was going to be an amazing spring day and a perfect one for the photo shoot! They couldn’t have picked a better one to say the least! His smile remained onto his lips as she finally opened her eyes and noticed him. He chuckled at her comment about the rain. “Didn’t they say that a boy can be even handsomer while being wet?” he added jokingly. He laughed at his own joke before grinning foolishly at Zelda.
He always enjoyed her company; they would always do crazy stuff together, well, not that crazy but a good crazy…kind of hard to explain. He simply was never bored with her. He laughed even more as she replied back to his narcissistic comment. Of course, she would always ‘bring him back to earth’. He sighed dramatically, “And I thought you were my friend~” He mused teasingly before grinning once again. He wasn’t bothered to look like a complete fool in front of that girl. Besides, he always enjoyed to have a good laugh.
He smiled and nodded at the girl as she proposed to begin the photo shoot. “Of course, what do you want me to do?” he asked her. He didn’t mind posing but he liked having some kind of instructions at first. Just to, you know, know where he was going with all this.

Again Zelda found herself rolling her eyes at one of Sebastian's comments. He could be so silly sometimes, and most of the time it was intentional, which would always make it even funnier. "Yes, but this isn't a waterproof camera! Besides, those types are no good. They work, but they never have as good quality as these kinds." she said instructively, petting her camera protectively. She knew quite a bit about them, after all, even if that wasn't where she was going with her life as far as a major or future full-time job went. Not to say she wouldn't want to do photography for a part-time job of course, but travel and international studies and the like was always her main focus.
She hit him on the arm at the friend comment, lightly though and with a smile. He was always so dramatic- she was convinced he got some of that from his little sister Shara, an actress who always seemed to be doing some type of dramatic acting. Even so, Shara was a good person, and kind, just like Sebastian. Zelda smiled a bit at that thought- they both were wonderful people. She was very lucky to have them in her life, especially Seb.
"Well...." she started, beginning to think aloud about how she wanted the photo shoot to go. She nodded toward the tree. "First... lean against this tree, fold your arms, and look to the side. Y'know, like the average model does. Nothing special for this one, we just need a few shots featuring sun and shade...." she began to ramble off to herself, motioning to the tree and posing like she wanted him to before letting him have at it. She had a list in her pocket of the photo requirements that she kept checking and reading off to herself to make sure everything was perfect- with Sebastian, this would definitely be an A plus assignment.

Sebastian chuckled as Zelda explained why it was best to have a photo shoot under the sun. It was true that cameras could be expensive, especially the good ones. It was like a guitar; the best the guitar was, the more expensive it was! “Alright, fine, I would still have looked amazing though, you can’t deny it.” He commented with a playful wink to his friend.
He crossed his armed and waited patiently for her to explain the concept she had in mind. He nodded as she asked him to do the average paused and leaned against the tree she had told him about. “I can do that, and really just a pause like this?” he asked looking all serious before smiling at her. “Seems like a boring assignment.” He joked with a grin. He knew he would still do it; after all, he’d do whatever she was going to ask him to do.
He gave her a flashing smile before looking in the direction she had asked him to and waited for her to take the picture. It wouldn’t be all that bad, to do the model; it never was. “By the way, I was wondering about if you wanted to come to the local bar this Friday, we’re having a show there and I could use a photographer, for the publicity you know.” He said with a smile before returning to his serious pause.

Amazing indeed... he always looked amazing, that's why she picked him as a photography subject most of the time, if not all the time! Instead of voicing this, though, Zelda merely replied, "Yeah, with all the rain maybe your face wouldn't be as visible! That'd save me tons of time editing!" she was teasing, of course, but she loved to say such things whenever he acted cocky or narcissistic. It was kind of like this ongoing thing with them- he'd act cocky, and she'd deflate his 'ego'. It was just their way of joking around with each other - they both knew it wasn't serious.
It did seem like a boring assignment, probably. "Well just for the first pose, really- we're supposed to copy some more mainstream styles of photo shoots as closely as possible, and then go on to do what we think would be even better." she took a few pictures, moving around and shooting from different angles, and then went back to look at the pictures on her camera as she continued to talk. "After this we'll do some more interesting ones, I promise!"
She had just finished and was ready to move on to the next poses when he asked her a question. A show at a bar? Sounded like fun- she was happy to hear his career was really picking up. "Of course, I'd love to! You sure you don't just want me there because I bring you good luck?" she laughed, batting her eyelashes teasingly. She'd have to write that down on her calendar in her room when she went back later- she wouldn't miss one of Seb's performances if her life depended on it!
That aside, she thought for a moment about the next pose before asking, "How do you feel about hanging upside-down from that branch?"

Sebastian chuckled as she teased him back and stuck his tongue out at her. Zelda knew how to play along and tease back, that was for sure and it was always enjoyable. He knew that she wasn’t serious as they never had had an argument of any kind to begin with. He smiled at the thought; it was good to be friends with someone who you knew you would never have fights with…so far. He didn’t wish to have any though and really hoped he wouldn’t but it wasn’t a possibility to deny if anything bad was to happen. Not that he thought it would…he was starting to confuse himself and decided to shake it off and simply enjoy his time with her.
Ah, just for the first pose, well, he wouldn’t mind then. He smiled and nodded. “Works with me, I am good at looking normal…” he joked. “Well, most of the time.” He felt like adding while smiling sheepishly. Really, she could make him do any pose and he’d probably do it, even the odd ones! They were just for a project after all.
He smiled as she agreed to join him when he’d perform. “That too.” He added with another playful wink. She really was calming his nerves down after all and whenever he was nervous –yes he could be nervous at times- he would focus on her instead and not the rest of the crowd. Made his nerves calm down slightly.
He smiled even more at the next request she had for him. “If I rip my pants, you pay for them.” He joked before he started climbing into the tree. “Because you know, I just got a clean outfit to look presentable for you.” He added as he rested his feet on a branch. He was now sitting on it but soon swung so his head was upside down and grimaced playfully at her.

It was so much fun spending time with Seb, no matter what the two were doing. Even if they were doing absolutely nothing but sitting and talking, or maybe not even talking at all, Zelda still seemed to enjoy it. There was just something so pleasant and effortless about spending time with Sebastian. She could spend the whole day around him and be perfectly fine with doing the same thing the next day, no questions asked. Today they actually had something to do, of course, but it didn't minimize the pleasantry of the whole thing. If anything, it made it even more fun.
She was glad to hear she made him feel better when he was performing, even if he had been joking when he said "that too". Although somehow she felt as though that hadn't been a joke at all, but had been truthful. She hoped it had been, anyway. It made her smile slightly- she loved to see him perform. She was so proud of him and his work- he was a wonderful musician, and extremely talented. She never tired of seeing his band perform and always tried to be there whenever they did. Plus, she took pictures of the performances for him, so she at least had a reason to be there other than just... being there because she wanted to, or he wanted her to be.
He continued on with his teasing as always, saying that if he ripped his pants she'd have to pay for it, but she merely laughed and motioned for him to go do it anyway. He really had gotten a clean outfit just to be presentable for her? The thought almost made her smile and perhaps blush just to think of it, but she waved it off in her mind almost immediately. That was silly. Of course he wanted to look presentable for the photo shoot- that's probably what he meant, not for her specifically.
Finally he got into position and she began taking pictures. "You've got to at least pretend like your'e enjoying it, for the picture's sake." she teased, taking a few more pictures like that before nodding, satisfied. "Okay," she said, looking at him contentedly and walking over to him, "you can come down now. Let's take some more on the grass!" she always got so excited about taking pictures. Her eyes would get all sparkly and happy just like the rest of her. It was weird looking at Sebastian upside down- she almost felt like she were taller than him for once. Though their height difference wasn't a huge one, he was still taller than her and so having her be almost face to face with him, though he was upside down, was interesting. She poked him just hard enough to try and make him wobble on the branch, but didn't want to push him down as it was just high enough that it'd probably hurt when he hit the ground. Grinning at him, she waited somewhat patiently for him to come down so they could finish up with the rest of the pictures.

Sebastian smiled slightly at her comment to his face before making a sillier one. “You have to tell me how much I should enjoy it because I might just spoil all of your art project with crazy faces…” he said which of course, he wasn’t serious with. This time, he looked more natural for his friend to take a picture of him and smiled once she said it was over. He didn’t mind hanging upside down on a tree branch; it reminded him of his childhood while he’d always like to climb in those and make houses up these. Those were certainly fun days to say the last. He laughed and smiled at his friend before getting down the tree. “I forgot how dizzy we could be after doing that.” He said with another laugh. Of course, he wasn’t feeling that dizzy but he was a little off for a second or two before being correct. Note to self; next time, he should be taking his time before getting down quickly. Oh well, it was still all fun to do that along with Zelda anyways so he didn’t mind it much. Besides, he was a man now (not yet though) but getting closer to it. He had to be the strong one. He looked back at her. “How do you want me to lay on the grass?” he asked her with a light smirk. “There are different ways to lay, I could be sexy, or just normal.” He added. “But that’s only if you want an A.” he finished on a more teasingly voice town than his two last sentences. He knew he wasn’t that self-centered but he always loved acting like a spoiled brat around Zelda; it always seemed to bring a good sense of humour around them as she understood his joking. He knew that some of his friends were maybe a bit too confident about their looks but he wasn’t bragging like that. That’s when he remembered that his sister and her friend got roles on the production. “Hey are you going to shoot the musical that will come? Sis and her friend got a role as well as my friend Diamond.” He told her with a smile. He was happy for them all- he just wished James would stop bragging about it a little. Spoil the project with crazy faces? Somehow Zelda doubted that. It didn't matter what face Seb was making, he'd still manage to make it look good. It was so unfair that he was so photogenic like that! Not that he wasn't good looking anyway, but some people just had some kind of magic when they were around a camera that made them look even better than they already did. Even as a photographer Zelda believed this, though many others didn't. She was not one of those photogenic people, unfortunately- she looked depressingly average every time she had her picture taken. Oh well. Good thing she was taking pictures of Sebastian instead of herself for the project. "I doubt it," she said finally.
"Yeah, I dunno what we were thinking." she laughed when he mentioned getting dizzy but still doing such things as a kid. Kids never thought about that kind of stuff- consequences, that was. In a way, neither did Zelda or Seb just then before they took that shot. Did that make them more of children than adults still? They were adults, really... they just didn't act like it a lot of the time. And why should they? They were still students- they had a bit longer before they had to go out into the adult world and be serious all the time. Even so, adults weren't always serious, either. There was no law saying they couldn't have fun and be childlike every once in a while.
"Um...." Zelda checked her list, smirking as Seb continued to talk of the different ways he could pose on the grass. "Try to look more playful, I guess. Innocent and smiling, like you're a puppy that just wants to play, or something. ...Does that make sense?" Zelda was always afraid that she wasn't able to get across her meanings very well, even though it seemed that Sebastian was always able to understand her anyway. They had known each other for quite a while now- they practically read each others' minds sometimes, it seemed.
He then asked her about the upcoming musical. She grinned, nodding at his questions. "Good for them, that's awesome! Yeah, I'll be attending the dress rehearsals once they've got everything together and ready. I'll take the pictures for the advertisements and posters and whatnot." she was excited to do so- not only would it be fun, and a good opportunity, but she'd also be able to get some extra credit in her advanced photography class, according to her teacher. "You thinking about maybe doing some of the music for it? I'm sure Shara's asked you already, huh?" she inquired next.

Sebastian listened to her as she gave more indications for him to pose like. Like a puppy? It was a funny way to put it, he smiled slightly. “Uh, I guess.” He said with a light laugh before taking a random pose. He hoped he was getting her thoughts right. He knew that sometimes it was hard to understand what the other meant, especially when they had a specific idea in mind. “Then again I could pull off a puppy eyes one if you need it.” He added with a smirk. He knew that some girls were melting when he did those eyes. Not that he wanted Zelda to melt on them…okay, a little but he didn’t have a reason to use them on her. At least, not yet. He smiled as she said that she had heard about the musical. He too had heard about it, from his sister who had asked him numerous times to be part of the band and do some of their music. He didn’t mind actually and quickly gave in. Not only would he be there for support for his sister and his friends but he’d also be part of it and have a name. Ah, it was great that she got a little contract to do the advertisement. “That’s nice, I always knew they would pick you, you’re the best.” He said, giving the girl a playful wink. He nodded at her question. “Yup, I’m going to do it, there’s already the music sheets around so I just need to follow it, shouldn’t be hard.” He commented with a smile. To him at least, it never was. He was glad that he was given a few chances to get a name and one day to have his full band to become famous. It may be a silly dream and everyone in that town seemed to want to be famous but he had a good feeling about himself and the few of his good friends. Somehow, despite her seemingly horrible job of trying to describe what she wanted, Seb was still able to do exactly that. Zelda was always amazed at how good he was at depicting what she was picturing in her head. He really did know her well, didn't he? It was really nice to just be able to have someone like that, that totally understood everything you said and stuff. She laughed when he mentioned puppy dog eyes and shook her head.
"No, what you're doing now is perfect. Don't move...." concentration apparent on her face, she took a few different pictures, checked them and her list, and then, satisfied, she grinned down at him and offered him her hand. "I think we're good! Thanks for helping me out, they came out great!" And it was all thanks to him and his undeniable photogenicness. Was that even a word? Probably not, but it was the only way that Zelda could manage to describe him and his magic with a camera.
He winked and said she was the best, saying how glad he was that they'd picked her for the musical's photography. Zelda felt herself blush just a slight bit, but quickly shook it off and smiled at him gratefully instead. "Well, I wouldn't say that. It's just a hobby after all, but I'm glad you think so!" she was also glad that he was going to be helping out with the music for the musical. It'd give him good publicity, as he'd be credited, no doubt, and it would be fun, too. Not to mention it would make Shara happy, which was always a plus. Sebastian really treasured his sister- she was very important to him, and it was always so sweet to see the brother and sister. Having no siblings herself, Zelda always thought of Shara as the closest thing to a little sister that she had. She was quite fond of her.

He looked at her and let the girl take her picture, waiting for her to tell him that everything was good. When she did say so he smiled and stood back up. “You’ll have to show me these pictures.” He added with a smile. He always liked to see how well he did in photo shoots. It was always fun to be the attention of cameras. Some people disliked cameras but he loved them, the flashes maybe a little less because it was blinding but other than that, he was good. Besides, it was giving him a good publicity – hey, who wouldn’t want to assist to a show with a good looking singer and guitar player? He smirked slightly at himself at the thought but didn’t say anything to Zelda. He noticed her blush but he decided not to say anything; he was glad that his compliments were actually getting to her. In fact, she was the only one he ever bothered to want to touch her with them. Did that sound awkward? He didn’t care but he really thing that she had talent and that she could possibly have a career out of it if she wanted to. Besides, when he’d become famous, which he was positive it’d be sooner than later, he’d only ask her to be his photograph as she had always known him and what he preferred. Not to add that the shoots were always amazing too! “I’m sure you could make a career out of it.” He added with a smile. He told her she'd have to show him the pictures- well of course she would! They were of him after all, and he was without a doubt giving her a good grade. He deserved to see them! "I'm going up to my dorm room in a bit to print them out if you wanna see them now before I hand them in." she suggested. She doubted she'd get them back once she put them in her folder along with the rubric and instruction sheet, because the teacher usually kept the students' work to put in the display case in the classroom.
Did he really think she could make a career out of it? That was a huge compliment! After all, it was just a hobby- her dreams all lied outside the country, doing some kind of international work with other countries, working as a translator or really doing whatever she could. Even so, in the back of her mind was always the thought of leaving Sebastian behind in America, which made her kind of sad. Of course it did, he was her friend. She didn't feel that way about her other friends, but they were just... they were different. She was closest to Seb- he was like her... best friend, that was it, and that was all. It was pretty simple.
Anyway... she shook off those thoughts. That was what she wanted to do, after all, and she'd still call Sebastian or see him when she was in the states. She could always take her camera with her to wherever she went, and then she'd take pictures to show him when she came back. That'd be a good idea- that way she'd be able to keep up with her hobby and have her dream job at the same time!
She couldn't help but keep a bright smile on her face around Seb, especially when he complimented her like that, about her photography. "It makes me happy to hear that... y'know, that you think I have potential. I guess if I can't make it as a translator or something, I'll have something to fall back on!" she joked with a smile. She wouldn't mind it, that was for sure... perhaps she'd do it for a job once she'd retired. That was far ahead in the future, though- she still had plenty of time to think about it.
