The Realm is engulfed in war...and the Dragon is rising
Stannis Baratheon has failed, with his defeat at Blackwater Bay his fleet is crushed. His nephew, Joffrey baratheon still sits atop the Iron Throne and is Lord of all The Seven Kingdoms. But not all are satisfied with this. Robb Stark has been named King-in-the-North and the Riverlands, but Winterfell has been lost. The Tyrells stand with the Lannisters and with the planned marriage between Myrcella Baratheon and Trystane Martell it forges an alliance that puts the entire south under the Iron Throne's flag.
Meanwhile in Essos, Daenerys Targaryen leads the remainder of her husbands Khal, with her dragons earning her great attention. Qarth proved fruitless in her endeavours, but now she has aqcuired a ship and moves east to prepare her for conquering the West.
