5 THINGS YOU AUTOMATICALLY KNOW ABOUT MELANIE

Upon first look, Melanie doesn't really look like much, albeit the above normally average good-looking female because she hasn't lost the habit of taking a quiet obsession over her looks. It's fair to say, though, from some perspectives, it's in the female genes. Otherwise, Melanie wouldn't look like much of a former singer/songwriter/model. From the observer's point of view, Melanie can be seen as intelligent which she most certainly is with classic, smart, gray eyes. Although, Melanie, unusually, can't look much like a normal person. Her clothes, although toned down to a casual degree, are clearly expensive and she's got an air and posture about her that makes you think just how important this girl is. Or, in this case, formally was.

Melanie knows at least one thing about...Well, everything. Although, this is only an exaggeration, it really isn't far from the truth. From spending her days in the library during her childhood and now, she's picked up truckloads of random facts that can cause her to be quite blunt. Often seen as the "Bad Cop" due to these facts she can't help using to correct others, she tends to try not to be rude about it. Except, sometimes, it doesn't matter how you act, people will be asses sometimes and you can't help it if you unintentionally get them all huffy due to correcting there mistakes, almost like an impulse which it quite seems as though it is to Melanie.

Melanie isn't exactly rude but she can't be called the nicest in the world either. You give her shit, she'll spit it back to you, possibly with a few hugs if you're on her good side. She does try, hard actually, to be niceable and likeable. Yet, she always ends up too blunt, too nerdy, too rebellious. Those three words describe Melanie in a way none others can. She's blunt, extremely blunt but never really means to hurt anyone, nerdy as she's usually found snuggling with a book in the library, and rebellious because she can get easily irritated in a stressful mood and she certainly doesn't tolerate any shit from anyone.

Melanie's life was difficult, to say in the least. If you're a very, very, intelligent person, you may be able to deduce this quickly enough. It isn't hard to tell that she's upset by the burdens she carries or had once carried on her shoulders by her secretive nature and her desire to keep in the shadows when she's so obviously meant to live out of them. And guessing that she's had a difficult past is pretty much a perfect guess. Growing up, Melanie was bullied. By her so-called friends, not-so friends, and occasional crushes now and then. When she was younger, she was called out for her looks. She wore braces, glasses, and admittedly, she wasn't the thinnest person alive. Not only this, but her classmates and bullies snickered at her dreams to focus on a life outside of school where she could be a star on TV and all that.
Basically, they thought it was shit. How could anyone so positively repulsive make her way up to fame? Every time her bullies brought her down. Which is why she never fought back. She never really gave in, but she refused to stoop down to their level and continued to offer friendship to them. Now, today, Melanie may seem distant, while kind and willing, she can be unintentionally distant and has shaped out to be a bullied victim who's found a way to channel her sorrows from then to her later years. So, really, you never want to see her when she's angry.
4 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MELANIE[/size][/u]

When you happen to be someone Melanie cares about, you become her personal guidance counselor. She'll spill all her troubles out to you like your a teddy bear for a sad little kid. Not only this, but she'll be extremely compassionate to those who find their way into her close-knit circle of friends, she'll become completely oblivious to your bad sides and will always be there for you when you need her.

Melanie, a kind but not always a happy camper, has a secret addiction; Music. She dedicates her life to it and after terminating her contract with the only studio that accepted her, well, it really broke her down. I mean, it's obvious that Melanie loves music but without it, she literally wouldn't be able to live. Perhaps this is why she finds every excuse to hum when she can or sing or tap her foot in an inconspicuous way.

Melanie always seems, to the quiet observer, as completely at ease when she's alone but this couldn't be more untrue. She has this irrational fear of being alone. In the dark, at the edge of death...Yes, all those things. Although she may not show it, Melanie may crave another's company and will certainly be thankful to know that she can always stretch a hand out for help and have another stretch out to meet hers.

Most people think that females are so much more insecure and weak then men. Although Melanie is insecure, she isn't weak and-is in fact, strong. Very strong. Possibly more strong than a girl has the right to be at her age but what does that matter when you're thrown into high school society, it's own living hell itself.
THE HISTORY OF MELANIE LAWRENCE[/size][/u]

Melanie was born to Carl Lawrence and Whitney White. As a baby, she was born in a remote hospital in LA. Her mom was a famous model then and her father was a lowly hypnotist. It was only a one night stand so the famous model named Whitney White deserted Melanie and Carl quickly after she was born and made sure the oress never heard of her shameful act. Melanie grew up without a mother and Carl never thought she needed one. She grew up fine, perfectly well with a healthy body and a cheery personality. Melanie grew older and soon enough, it was time to ship her off. To where? Clarion Ladies' Academy, of course. She was flown and driven across the states from Maine where Carl had finally settled down to California again for the education. Melanie spent her childhood years in that academy and bitterly hated them.
All the way up until she started growing into her teens, Melanie was bullied everywhere she went. Back then, she wasn't the prettiest of people but the most beautiful on the inside, probably. She completely ignored her attackers but every mocking jeer hit a chord in her and every victim of bullying knows that it's an experience that will stay with you your entire life.

One of the daily topics on her torment was her music. She was obssessed with it and the first time the bullies made fun of it, she'd lost her temper and flown into a rage, screaming and generally whacking them away from her sheets of music. She was fed up. Melanie decided to find a way to tell them she could be what she promised them she would; a singer.
Melanie got more than she bargained for. A big recording studio contracted with her and soon enough she was splashed across every magazine cover. She was definitely living the life especially since she started modelling too. But fame can always be too much for some people and soon enough, Melanie found herself being pushed towards clubs and steroids and alcohol. She was in the midst of rumor and gossip and suddenly, her face on every magazine cover didn't seem so appealing. It was like being bullied all over again.
Melanie terminated her contract with the studio but she was already tied into her model career, blackmailed pretty much, so she just tries to remain as low key as possible. For a while, it was perfect. Everything quieted down and a few occasional fans asked for her autograph but there were no more gossip rumors. One of her hair stylists, leaked out about her going to Shakopee, Minnesota to attend a university. The press started coming up with new stories on the veteran singer who they missed having in their pages so much. They talked of potential school loves and all that shit. Basically, Melanie tried to melt into the shadows and ignore the stories that floated around her once again.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
